Thanks Ray. I'm busy with some MCX issues at the moment (trying to edit some over-enthusiastic lighting effects!) but I'll get to look at them later today.

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Just a quick update on what I'm doing at the moment.
I'm building the Embraer factory airfield, SBGP. What you see in the screen shot is the left side of the final assembly complex. I probably have the same amount of buildings yet to make on the right. What makes this easier than most sceneries, is that the blue and white colour scheme is largely standard over most buildings. The complex you see in the screen shot, consists of just 2 models, 2 textures and therefore 2 draw calls. It also makes it easier to weld texture vertices.
Final assembly of the C-390 is done here, while the complex to the right of the two examples, is Super Tucano assembly. I will be placing a couple of these aircraft here too, flying test circuits. C-99/E-99 and R-99s in for whatever reason, seem to congregate at the end of the complex, yet to be built in my scenery, to the right.
I think I still prefer building AI aircraft, but I am enjoying this, I just need to find a way to get rid of that sandy grass, without alienating the airfield from the surrounding terrain.

I prefer your AI models too, but if your delving into scenery of this quality you also have my thumbs up
Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
question regards to the T-27's. they are hard to find out which aircraft is in what scheme see pics below
so what would you like me to do:
A/ 50/50 mix of both schemes.
B/ 75% new 25% old scheme.
C/ 100% new digi camo (i guess they will all end up in this camo paint in the end).

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Ah, OK. TBH I have no great preference, but I'd suggest 50-50. I have no idea how fast the repaint programme is going - I wasn't even aware of it! I've asked a good friend who's an aviation photographer to go and do some research for us over in Brazil, but I don't think he took me seriously...
In other news, I have completed a rebuild of SBCG (Campo Grande) for P3Dv5. SBCG is one of the three A-29 bases. It's in the middle of nowhere, but there are a couple of local airfields which they likely use to do continuation training at. SBCG is a shared civil-military airfield, and I suspect A-29s doing circuits aren't that popular with ATC!
The Changes & Progress document has been updated to reflect this, and the files are in the FTP. There is a phototile for SBCG, but it's currently a bit on the large side (170mb). I'll slim it down soon.
Jobs for this week (for me) are to finish the mods to SBES now we've worked out the traffic issues, and complete the lighting for SBAN after I had to pick Arno's brains for some info. Once that's done, I'll get on with SBAN for FSX and continue the mods to accommodate the A-29s at their various homes. The T-27s will get some love next week.

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
There are a few changes in the FTP today. I've updated SBAN and SBCG (both P3D) and added separate folders for the more important (from our PoV) airfields.

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Thanks Ray. I'll do an update tomorrow - I now have Canoas (and next door Porto Allegre) to add to the completed airfield list.

And the Embraer airfield (SBGP) is nearly there.

Canoas (SBCO) and Porto Allegre (SBPA) have been added to the FTP. Ray has added his T27 (no traffic files as yet). The F-5 aircraft.cfg has been modified to match the airfield parking designations. The Changes and Progress document has been updated.
SBCO Canoas (P3D only for now):
