Hi Joe,
It's the same flight plan process for large aircraft as for small ones. Obviously larger aircraft need larger parking spots and the appropriate type of spot.
The model you need for the C-130 repaint you want to install is not the one you have linked to - that's a C-130J. You need the H model and I think this one will do the job:
https://militaryaiworks.com/download-ha ... -usaf-jyai
I don't think you can set a 3 hour repeat interval though, it's usually one of : 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hour intervals, or WEEK to repeat every seven days.
Hope that helps,
John
Hi! sorry if this is annoyance, but how i get started creating AI flightplans for FSX?

Good news is that the C-130 Does the flight from Edwards to Vandenberg and back amazingly! So fun to see fsx come to life!
One issue though, The NASA Paintscheme won't show up, It's just spawning as an ANG C-130.

When i try to fix that and make it use the N436NA, Our Halloween gremlin re-appears and clips the plane's wingspan from 125 feet to just 20. Any clue how to fix?

And after clicking save...

Any ideas how to squash this little gremlin for good?
EDIT:
Checking the CFG, it appears that the Wingspan was not actually messed up despite what AIFP said. So we can probably disregard it as a UI bug of some sort. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... a5db5b1b6a&
Also, The reason the C-130 was showing as the default ANG was because i had forgotten to save the texture selection. However, The applied NASA skin does not work, Showing as pitch black. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... 98cf179081&
Any clue what's goin' on?
Thanks for the help!

Joe,
You are making progress. Good to see that you have a large aircraft operating, albeit a black one at this point.
Are you able to zip up the texture folder for the NASA skin and the aircraft.cfg file for the aircraft, including the NASA entry please? You should be able to PM that to me (4 MB max I think). I'll check it through for you and see if I can spot the problem.

Thanks for the files Joe.
Can I say first off, that there's no need to keep repeating the post you are replying to. It just makes the thread very long and difficult to find things I'm looking for.
As to the black C-130, you are making the same mistake again with the aircraft.cfg file and making changes that result in an error.
To illustrate that, I should explain that if there is an error in the aircraft.cfg texture name entries, or in the texture folders, that will cause the texture to render black, not only in that aircraft, but in all the aircraft FSX attempts to load after it. FSX loads the aircraft randomly, but when it reaches a name or folder with an error in it, it stops loading and all aircraft after that render black. This has what's happened here.
You have inadvertently changed the texture name for the first USAF aircraft:
[fltsim.0]
title=JYAI_C-130H USAF 180th AS 90-1791
sim=JYAI_Lockheed_C-130J
model=C-130H_closed
prop_anim_ratio=-0.18
texture=e.N436NA
It should read like this:
[fltsim.0]
title=JYAI_C-130H USAF 180th AS 90-1791
sim=JYAI_Lockheed_C-130J
model=C-130H_closed
prop_anim_ratio=-0.18
texture=180th AS 90-1791
Once that is corrected, all the aircraft in the folder render fine, including the faulty USAF example and the NASA one, as in this screen shot at my test airfield:
Just take care with what you are doing and if you get an unexpected result, check through the text and the file names.
