Time

Post by Firebird »

Gents,

I can't believe that nobody has needed/wanted this before but I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Can anybody help?

When I do my testing quite often I need to monitor the time local and/or UTC but there doesn't seem to be a clock that I can open on my second screen that shows me the FS time.

Is anybody aware of one and where I can get it?
Steve

Steve

Can you open an aircraft panel in the other window?

The aircraft clock should have the FS time.

I guess I should have been more exact with my words.
What I mean is that this is for when I am testing/watching AI aircraft so I am using the TVB aircraft. I have tried to add a clock to the TVB panel but I have been unable to (possibly due to me own ineptitude) and so I started looking for proggy or module that could run in its own window so that I could keep track.

Any ideas?

Try this file at Avsim.com: fsclock.zip

Possibly what you might be after.

Check the gauge pack with Mobile Control Tower (available on flightsim.com or avsim.com). I use it to watch AI all the time and I believe it has a clock that shows both times... don't have access to it on my system at the moment to confirm for you. Also...it seems that if I remember correctly the same fella who created one of the early taxi/pushback gauges for FS9 also created a clock that showed Local and UTC at the same time.

Cheers...
