Hickam AFB
Hope someone can put me right on this. Am I doing the right thing by swapping my Hickam F15`s with F22`s now, or is there a mix of both?
Re: Hickam AFB
Yes, all the Hickam F-15s have been retired and are being replaced by the F-22s.

Be sure to check this:

I try to keep my MAIW packages up to date, even removing models that were written off real world (USAFE F-15E).

BTW, ATM support is being provided by F-15 from Montana ANG 120 FW pending delivery of F-22 IIRC later this year.

Thanks Scott. Will stick some Montana F15`s in there for a bit. Any idea when they are due to leave?
Re: Hickam AFB
Montana Air Guard's F-15 support to Hawaii / JB Pearl Harbor Hickam ends today at 1400 HST, in time for Pearl Harbor Day. Hawaii ANG 199th /USAF 19th Raptor squadrons officially take responsibility for the missions.

Thanks, I'll be moving my MT ANG Eagles back to the cold. I assume this means HI ANG has all of their Raptors?

Not sure on how many are painted, but Mark has them. I was using an older FP set that was pre-MAIW. Still adjusting my parking at PHNL for these.

Re: Hickam AFB
I'm working on a full set of repaints for the HH F-22s, but I think I'm missing one serial number (I believe there are 20 assigned to the 199th / 19th FS but I've only come up with 19 serial numbers, listed below).
I'll pop some screenshots up in due course, but what I've got so far is: hand-drawn "HD" (2048x2048) main texture as serial numbers are close to illegible at correct size with original (all panel lines and markings redrawn to suit the higher resolution), AF ANG shield and serial numbers (in progress, but basic kit is done so just a case of rattling off all the serials), intake covers in both generic "F22 Raptor" and 19th FS versions (I've found photos of both in use as recently as 2013 so I'm representing a 50/50 mix of the two).
The repaints will come with a set of (basic, not my forte) flight plans, enough to get you all 20 aircraft doing occasional TNGs.
I'm working them up to go with an update to my AIG PHNL (http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=139684) FSX / P3D AFCAD which I'm bringing up to P3D specs and updating to reflect changes at PHNL since its release in 2009. Although sadly AIG Ground is defunct, the new version will be to the same standard with parking to AIG and MAIW specs. There are quite a lot of changes, but those specific to Hickam are: reinstated north ramp, extended east ramp, reorganized parking on main ramp, tweaked parking codes to better accommodate VIP and visiting aircraft, added more detailed ramp markings (including the "red carpet" at the AF1 parking spot).
There is a few weeks work to finish off PHNL yet, and I'll release the F-22s at the same time.
Anyway, the list of serials I have is as follows, if anybody could verify these and let me know which one I'm missing that would be a big help:
Cheers,
Paul

Re: Hickam AFB
Great, thanks Stewart, and a nice site I hadn't come across before. So that actually gets us to 21 then!
Re: Hickam AFB
OK, the repaints are basically done, just very simple flight plans for now to get all 21 aircraft at PHNL for testing the AFCAD. Back to work on the AFCAD now, but I though you might like to see a few screenshots. The shots don't really do the added texture resolution justice, suffice to say they look good to me in-sim with no perceptible performance hit.
03-4047, -4051, -4054 and -4059 stand ready at the end of runway 08L as the sun sets over the Hawaiian islands:
A closer view of 03-4051 showing the generic F22 Raptor intake cover as a visiting U2 skulks away in the background.
A storm rolls in over Honolulu (and that U2 photo bombs us again, oops) as the Raptors stand ready to jump into action (well, the pilots seem to have wandered off for a mai tai) with a visiting C-130J, C-5 and KC-10 in the background along with a few of the resident C-17s, its a busy night!
Comments are of course welcome. I hope to have the AFCAD ready to go in 2 or 3 weeks depending on how much interference I get from real life and will upload these along with it.
