Once "Top Aces" is finished (very soon), onto something I have been putting off, but as the special schemes are fast disappearing....

Also 'Ghost' scheme...

Had to make a few allowances around the rear of the intake because of texturing.

Good morning,

I had read that among your team of creators, you shared the source files and that one of you, after a few adaptations, compiled these models for the FS9 format. What about now? Can we still expect to see these models in an FS9 version too?

Thanks.

I can answer that. I was doing the FS9 compilations.

What happened was that my HD got wiped by a rogue version of my backup program that was released in error.
By the time I had my system rebuilt from scratch the modelling had continued to take advantage of some features that FSX offered.
This made them incompatible with compiling for FS9.

Kev was not keen on undoing the changes he had made to the source to make them FS9 compatible, as Kev had uninstalled FS9.

This is why there are no FS9 compilations and I can't see that there ever will be.

I might be wrong but I believe that MCX now supports recompiling FSX to FS9. It may work for P3D back to FS9.
If you want to try Steve, go ahead

Arno is adding that just now, with great feedback from Tom Gibson and some other people. It should be good to be used soon.

If recompiling to FS9 works then i will indeed do all the models that Kev produces.

Just give me a nudge when the ability is available, just in case I don't see it.

Thanks Mike. Aggressors are more interesting to do.
I wish I could get hold of Mins and see if he would give me a copy of his weathering layers. They look great!
