Re: Taxisigns not showing up
Jason I do not know how long you have been using ADE so this might, or might not, be appropriate. I used Afcad for a long time before using ADE. I took me a day or two to discover that ADE requires you to compile the bgl file using the compile command. All the save command does is save your changes ...

Re: Taxisigns not showing up
Hi again
Just a thought.
If you are opening your new bgl with ADE then you will not see signs inside the small exclude zones.
In view options turn view exclusions off in order to see the taxi signs.

Re: Taxisigns not showing up
Hi Do you have two separate .bgl files? One for the airport and one for the taxi way signs. Are the taxiway signs in the .XML file? Open it with notepad. A possible solution is to compile a separate .bgl file with only the exclusion rectangles. First open the original ADE .XML file with notepad. Sav...

Re: RAF Mildenhall Version 2 Support Thread
Rich
This is perplexing.
Make sure that the Addon scenery is at number 1 in your scenery library editor.
Use windows to search the whole fs9 folder for EGOV to find duplicates.
Other than that I do not know what else can cause your problem.

Re: RAF Mildenhall Version 2 Support Thread
Rich Do you have the file "MAIW_AF2_EGOV_DEFAULT_GL.bgl" in the FS9\Addon Scenery\Scenery folder? The default EGOV has no parking spots. I have found with some AI flight plans if there are no parking spots on one airport required for the day then no aircraft show up, even at other airports...

Hi Rich
Do you have RAF Valley from Airfield Construction Group installed?
If you do, then you need to remove all files with EGOV in the name from folder 'FS9\Addon scenery\Scenery'.

Hi Rich
Your problem arose when you read the UK hawks 2 readme.
It instructed you, incorrectly, to delete files containing EGOV.
Regards

Re: RAF Mildenhall Version 2 Support Thread
Hi Rich
There is no way that the Mildenhall package could have deleted the Valley Hawks.
Install the Valley Hawks package again.
Search your FS9 folders for EGOV.
Reinstalling often leads to missing files. Usually not installed again. Our memories can play terrible tricks on us.

Re: Aviano AB LIPA on Avsim
Hi FS9 does not have approaches for Aviano. I have used a program called "ils approach creator" to make the approaches for LIPA. They are basic and start from the Course fix on final approach. This should let the aircraft land without delay. Making arrival routes is possible using xml but ...

Re: Piracy?
He lives in Cape Town.
He has taken other people's scenery in the past and passed it off as his own which then conflicted with other airports linked to the original freeware scenery.
Sadly people actually pay for his low quality products. The freeware for South Africa is far better.

Re: ADE 9 Question
Chris You are not doing anything wrong. In order for ADE to compile the airport, the scenery libraries that the author used need to be in the same folders that the author of the file had them. A work around for this is to open the ade_xxx.bgl with BGLX. Make a copy of the XML file and change the nam...

Re: Request for Concrete Berm
Hi Stewart I will give it a try. I would suggest making the whole structure in Gmax or FSDS. Lining up the segments would have its own frustrations. I have tried a rough model using boolean cuts on the ends much like skirting boards. Are the walls as high as 22 metres? Give me a few days Regards John
