Re: Aircraft cause blurred scenery
Had the same issue today.
Found DXT3 textures in the scenery with no alpha channel. Static aircraft to be precise.
Ran DXT fixer.
All fine now.

Re: Haakonsvern (ENBH) problem
Jim
I made that scenery for Ultimate Terrain Europe. There was an land class addon for Norway which is probably more accurate.
I used 76m mesh for FS9 which is still available at https://simviation.com/1/fs2004terrainmesh.
The Norway airports pack for FS9 does not have landclass for this.

Not dead, but very little sign of life.
I have left it alone for a while. Not happy with available fonts for numbers.
Just completed the Norwegian serials.
Going to limit my contribution to paints. Making flight plans sends me of on all sorts of adventures.

Thank you for the FS9 Package. Great work as usual. Thanks also to those who contributed.
To concur with the previous statement you have to remove the previous EGDY .bgl's.

Gary
Perhaps there is a problem with your version of AIFP 3. There are glitches appearing as it is modified for other sim versions.
I have converted the files for FS9 and it works fine.

Re: John's Junk
Started cutting it this morning.
Created a huge mess. Think I have cleaned it up ok.
The older Swiss aircraft will also get a version eventually.
This may take a while so don't hold your breath. At least I can keep the texture sheet the same.

Re: AI Oleo Compression
I am making the assumption that this is for a helicopter.
You would have to link it to your Hover movement.
Keep the wheels on the ground until the fuselage has reached a specific height. Extend the oleo upward.
The keyframes would then have to match the hover movement.
Do not call it gear.

Re: Making heli AFD overlay
John
Do you have the same altitude set for the overlay as the altitude of the default scenery?
FSX and FS9 are not always 100% the same.
The flatten must then be the same as default. The AP946120 has altitude as 81.69m.

Spot the difference
I took the plunge and overcame my morbid fear of re-mapping this creation.
Small cosmetic improvements.
I still have to work on the ugly mannequins, they do have textures on now.

A question
Was the helo afcad made from the original afcad?
As in the original one stripped down.
Creating the helo afcad from scratch may be a solution.

Re: Agusta A109's
John Firstly Wow. These helicopters are a treat. Secondly, on the subject of afcad. I have spent days if not weeks trying to get helicopters to work from one afcad. The results for FS9 are consistent, aircraft use the longest runway active or not, if runways are same length they will go to the one o...
