Heard mention that they will be flying over Grantham - this is subject to confirmation but that day WILL be booked off. So looking forward to this.

Re: RAF Transports
Unfortunately my broadband died on me last night so I won't be able to upload Benson just yet, but talktalk have said that I should be back online later today. To compound things even further, Brians internet is being serviced as well so therefore there is nothing he can do from his end either. Sorr...

Re: Mildenhall Shed
If I am correct, on the show days, the 'bird was kept outside of the NAF hangar (one in the picture with banner), as the flyers were parked mainly on the south side of the airfield, to which obviously, the public had no access.

Re: MAIW Military Video Collection
Some video footage taken last year with a Utah National Guard UH-60 doing their bit to quell wildfires. The image of one of the trees totally engulfed in flames is quite eerie....

Re: RAF hercules Fleet early 70s
Here we go......practically the whole original RAF Herk fleet - less about 5 that had been lost since entering service. Flightplans for both the UK and for 70 Sqn (not 36 as I originally stated) at Akrotiri, but if anyone wants to do better plans and share them, I won't complain  Get them here...

RAF hercules Fleet early 70s
Any takers? Just need to do all of the serials now that I've got the schemes sorted out......from circa 71-72, so the bulk will all have moved from Fairford to Lyneham but with 36 Sqn still at Akrotiri.
