Re: KRMG T-6 Texan II Falls Over

Always a workaround... Zolt painted the IRIS model, which I stripped of everything and made it AI. Nothing ventured... 8) The landing flare is somewhat overdone, but at least they turn properly and don't fall over! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/538/TCH8Uu.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2...

Re: KRMG T-6 Texan II Falls Over

I hang out ... everywhere, Sean!
And for matters military and AI, can you think of a better place? 8)

Yes I've seen bits of your NZFF posts about it, sounds good.

I think I knew this was no simple thng 8)
I do appreciate your having a look; meantime I will temporarily post the appropriate speed limit signs down the runway!

Re: KRMG T-6 Texan II Falls Over

You're welcome Steve, it's an all-time favourite in this part of the world! You are correct about taxispeed having an influence. I use high speeds to clear the runways at the major airports: 35kt runway, 20 kt taxiway. I didn't play long enough to decide the critical value, but winding them right do...

Re: KRMG T-6 Texan II Falls Over

At AVSIM: (You should really have this if you don't already: a classic scenery :!: ) I've attached the custom AFCAD The issue would be apparent for any T-bone taxi configuration forcing a 180 turn I imagine. File Description: The 'Real New Zealand' Marlborough scenery previously available as payware...

KRMG T-6 Texan II Falls Over

The RNZAF has taken delivery of its first Texan II's and so the updated AI needs to go to Woodbourne.
There is a single taxiway; on landing the plane slows to 26kt and then does the U-turn to taxi back. This is too fast, and the plane trips over its nosewheel.
I am hoping there is a quick fix?

Re: RNZAF Texan II

John you are speaking to the author of rnzafa11.
My ambition was to create a Texan II update which could be plugged in to supplant the CT4's.
Thanks for this stuff, I'm looking forward to having a play over the weekend.
Cheers,
Charl

Re: RNZAF Texan II

Thank you, Sir!
Now, I wondered where the base model might be found?

RNZAF Texan II

Well the CT4's have marched into history, and now there are 11 Beech Texan II's which need introducing into the AI fleet. This is no bad thing as the CT4 models tended to hog resources somewhat... Before re-inventing the wheel, I thought I'd ask if anyone in this esteemed company feels like producin...

Re: NBAI Airbus A400M Version 1

Fantastic, thanks!
I am going to "retire" several of the older models in my 2015 sim, now.
Edit: Ummm I note it pushes back with open ramp+door.
Perhaps address that in a future update?

FS9'er here... didn't know about that, interesting.
The AFD file would have been transplanted, then.
Thanks for the explanation.

Re: KBUF AI

Thanks I think the parking labels may just have slipped into the scenery, as on closer inspection they are all around the terminal gates!
Pity, I do like mixed civilian/military airport sceneries, it gives more bang for the buck...

KBUF AI

Hello, sorry to barge in like this, I just installed FlyTampa's Buffalo (Special at Sim Market for a day or three!) and see there's a raft of Ramp Mil Cargo included.
Anyone have thoughts about what might fly in there, and what AI package might include it?

Flight Plan for MG_AI_Airbus_MRTT_KC2

Anyone come up with a refuelling track for this bird?
I imagine around the Med would be a nice one to have.
If not, I'll do one; thought I'd nose in here first...

Thanks chaps... it feels strange to have the mil and civvie stuff in the same space, I usually have them in totally separate sims.
There are some other airports with dual nature which might work, too, just need some time...

Back to Greece

Coming from the other point of view, so to speak... I diverted a little MAIW Phantom traffic to Aerosoft's new Heraklion, and was well pleased with the result. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h200/CHARL_photos/Flightsim%202/F-4Efs92012-12-0319-11-27-45.jpg Creates an excuse to beat up a civilian a...

Thanks... scenery is Deane Baunton's FS2000 version which he tweaked for the RNZAF airshow package.
I've been doodling some background tiles for it subsequently.

Thought this might be of interest: a quick repaint of the Australian F-18s for the RNZAF 75th at Ohakea http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h200/CHARL_photos/Flightsim%202/GuideLarge.jpg ...and plugged in to the RNZAF "Air Show" AI display: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSnunTo6Beg&list...
