Re: Beta Tester for FSX A-10 Canopy Fix

Martin,

Sorry for not posting sooner, too much time at work.

I haven't had that much time to look but from what I've seen so far the A10
now looks awesome. I've have the MAIW_canopy_clear file in
my main texture folder.

Re: Poll: A question for everyone, about their FS set-up.

I have adjusted all my radii to a simple version that conforms to specs from The Owls Nest http://www.flightsim2004-fanatics.com/F ... Values.htm

It's all based on real aircraft radius and has worked awesome in both FS9 and FSX.

Re: Support for MAIW Packages in FSX

Make sure you don't have multiple afcads for one airport. Many of the MAIW cads will have issues in FSX as they weren't designed for FSX. Landclass, autogen and default buildings to name a few. Using Jim Cooks will work however you will loose the defined parking codes specific to the units as used i...

Re: Support for MAIW Packages in FSX

Could very well be your Traffic_HTAI_CSEP.bgl is still in FS9 format. You can remove it just to test if anything new shows up or convert it to FSX format.

Re: Norton Internet Security 2010

I swapped about 3 months ago to Norton 2010 after 5+ years with Trend Micro and am super happy with the performance so far.
An excellent product with minimal hit on the resources.

Awesome.. So glad to have the Tornado's back up to their sleek lines.

Does anyone know of a similar fix to Rysiek's A-10?

I've been running Windows7 64bit RC Build 7100 since the day it was released and have had not a single crash/freeze or stability issue.
It's been rock solid and runs awesome with FS9, FSX, BF2, CoD4, Cod5 to mention a few.

I know it's a tough call, but you might want to switch sides and look at the X1950 Pro. It was the fastest card produced for AGP and aimed directly at knocking the 7800series off that spot.

I've had Vista 32 on my main PC since the week it was released and other than the early driver issues it's been solid. XP had the same driver issues when it was first released so it's not new to Vista. I've also got the beta of Windows7 but took it out due to driver issues and games but from what I ...

Messing around with the hovercontrol Jayhawk.

Hi all, just wanted to share a couple pics from Whidbey and Kodiak. I was playing around with the Hovercontrol Jayhawk as AI. I haven't messed with them in a few months now but they do fly pretty good and as long as you don't have hordes of them around they don't impact the FPS at all. Here's one on...
