Re: USCG San Diego help
One way of removing the static helos, would be to replace their texture files with a solid black 64x64 .bmp with a black alpha channel. That way they'll at least be invisible, unless there's some special glass built into the model.

Re: Emmen, Switzerland
Oops, yeah, I haven't gotten around to installing Mesh for Switzerland, so when I booted up the scenery I see what you mean. I simply misunderstood you, thinking the part of the mountain where the cavern is, was gone. Since it's modelled as part of the scenery, I found that strange.

Re: Emmen, Switzerland
Payware package "Patrouille Suisse" includes a nice Emmen scenery, BTW, you also might install the Buochs LSMU scenery done by Isra's Domain. This air base is more or less home base of PC-21. Very interesting are the caverns with some F-5 inside. Bernard Where do you find the payware Patr...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Remember you don't have a lot of parking outside the C-type hangars. There's some more room down by the Visiting Aircraft spots. MAIW (and other) traffic has already filled out Waddington, so it was necessary to add more parking spots anyway. In any case, I plan on having some of the stationed airc...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
I plan on doing some flightplans for the Waddington birds, including the ones from the AI pack that came with the scenery. Yes, even the fugly Nimrod, for those of us who don't mind a bit of retro

Re: Id this aircraft please.
Yeah, that's a CGI job. The engines are a dead giveaway as far as labelling it a B737, but that of course doesn't come with a rear cargo ramp - and it would have to be scaled up least 2x for the second screenshot to fit.

Re: NAS Alameda & The Big E
Keep in mind that AFCAD2 used its own method of compiling, which wasn't entirely according to the SDK, which was why you could/can do those narrow taxiways, runways, etc. ADE uses the compiler from the SDK, which is more limited in what it will accept. I have no experience working with the FSX boat ...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Here's some flightplans for the USMC UC-12W's. 8204 and 8205 are based at NAS JRB New Orleans and the rest are spread out at their respective MCAS's. John Stinstrom included MC-12W plans in his updated Beale AFB scenery, so I haven't done those.

Found the one I was thinking of, although since it's just the Danish platforms, they probably aren't served from the UK bases:

Re: JASDF Bases
It's a shame the JGSDF area is outdated in Kazuhiro Miyazaki's scenery. Not that a lot of parking space is required though, so it should be possible to put the needed parking spots in there anyway.

Re: MKAI Puma/SuperPuma/Cougar
There's some scenery out there (I'll be damned if I can remember where) that puts a lot of the North Sea plaforms in. Might require some jiggery-pokery with the AFCAD's to get them to land properly, but at least it should get the flightplanner some codes to work with.

JASDF U125 down at Kyushu
Looks like it went down in some very rugged terrain north of Kanoya AB. The bodies of 4 out of 6 crew members have been recovered so far. http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2016/04/06/national/asdf-jet-disappears-radar-southwestern-japan/#.Vwecy2iLS9I http://www.asahi.com/articles/photo/AS201604080005...

I take it by Belle Chasse, LA you mean NAS JRB New Orleans? If so, Matthew Donica did a scenery for that: nas_jrb_new_orleans.zip @ AVSIM.

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Very nice!
I was thinking, removing additional aerials for repaints that doesn't need them, couldn't that be accomplished via Alpha channel? Or is it more a matter of the operator having a pick'n'mix approach to which aerials they want bolted onto the various points?

Re: Russians
Very nice addition, Miljan. Time to make sure there's enough parking spots at Borisoglebsk and Armavir
