Re: KC-135 60-0329 retired to the Air Force Museum
Flightlead13, Thanks for sharing this video! 60-0329 was a Kadena bird prior to getting transferred to Hawai'i. (This bird came to the rescue of 6 Navy aircraft while performing refueling operations over the Gulf of Tonkin in May 1967, during the Vietnam War). NKAWTG! If you have a chance to go the ...

Re: C-17 Globemaster: What does this sound mean?
At the 1025-1030 timeframe. The loadmaster, sitting in the right seat is testing the cabin smoke detection system. That sound is the cabin smoke detector controller resetting after the BIT check concludes. The APU is started a few steps later in the checklist.

John, Very nice work, as always! I was flying from ETAD to ETAR and realized that I had not updated to your variants! You are correct on the tails changing. I know RJTY and ETAR had swapped a few tails a year or so ago. You are correct, trying to keep up will drive a person crazy! Your work is great...

Re: JYAI KC-10A
John, Awesome work! This KC-10A/KDC-10A/10 TANKER fleet is bad ass! I am going to be updating my files to put all of these into action! This set brings back great memories SAC and post-SAC! I worked on Big Sexy at Barksdale, (458th OPG/2nd ARS) prior to be BRACC'd to McGuire where i continued to sup...

Re: RODN V3
I had an issue with a previous RODN install. My scenery and parking were fine; however a quarter of my F-15's were "shiny" , each squadron had a few birds that would not load properly. The texture was there, just shiny and silvery looking, all the time! I uninstalled the original RODN, bot...

Re: RAF mildenhall
You are welcome! I'm not 100% certain, but FSXSE could be an issue. I am using FSX Deluxe Edition. No issues on my install, all textures are there. From what you are describing perhaps the scenery/texture folders aren't in the correct location. I don't have steam edition, not really sure what to tel...

Re: Desert Falcons
Really nice work Greg! This is an amazing job that you have done! I actually got a glimpse of the Desert Falcons, shortly after they started arriving, 2007-2008 timeframe, during one of my deployments to the UAE. They are on the other side of the airfield from us. We had a maintenance problem on one...
