MAIW Needs YOU

Testing..1..2..3

The MAIW Beta Team is in DIRE need of reliable beta testers to test our packages prior to their release. Currently, we have around two dozen packages in or near beta ready status but just don't have the manpower to get them tested in anywhere near a timely fashion which in turn leaves their release in anything close to the near future in serious doubt. So if you're a team player, have CONSISTENT free time and are willing to help out, please drop "Reconmercs" a pm to get the ball rolling to join the MAIW Beta Team.

Heading for the Holidays

As we head for the traditional season celebrated in many different ways around the world, MAIW is still hard at work on new military AI packages. In the coming months yet more Mirage packages will make their debut featuring new countries to the MAIW map. More Apache packages are also in the works for both U.S. and non U.S. operators of this deadly machine. In addition, a long awaited project will finally come to your virtual skies in the coming months. Stay tuned!

October Hot Shot winners: james84 and -foxtail-. Our October Hot Shot winners are shots taken from two bases which stay quite busy. James84's shot features a Lakenheath F-15E strike Eagle departing in full afterburner, highlighting the beautiful afterburner effect produced by Steve Hadlow. Foxtail's shot features a row of BAe Hawks, awaiting their next flights by their student avaitors at RAF Leeming. Great shots gentlemen!

New models in the works? We have yet to run out of new models and new modelers striving to fill the voids in the military AI world. Over the past two years, the community has made great progress in crossing many models off of the "to do" list. Still in the works these days are the F-18 Hornet and SuperHornet models, the new Mig-25 and additional military helicopters. So we are going to be quite busy for many years to come at this rate.
