AI Groups

Alpha India Group (AIG)
Alpha India Group Alpha India Group is a fairly recent AI group that has quickly become the centre of the civilian AI community, due to their very active forum. They make AI models, repaints, flightplans and AFD files all for both FS9 and FSX, but no complete packages.
globusworld.net (GWAI)
globusworld.net

Globusworld is a very recent addition to the AI community that offers AI models, tons of quality repaints and accurate flightplans. They have a dedicated team with contributors from all over the world. You'll have to sign-up to access their site but don't let that discourage you; you'll find a wealth of resources inside.

World of AI (WoAI)
World of AI World of AI provides the novice as well as the experienced user with high-quality AI traffic packages, using a simple installer. They do not create their own content but combine the best models, paints and flightplans from various authors.
Military AI Works (MAIW)
Military AI Works This is a very obscure group of military AI addicts whose only purpose is to reduce your framerate to single digits with so much traffic that you will never stop asking for more. For some perverse reason they still only develop for FS9 in stead of the far superior FSX, but their packages can easily be converted. Try it out!

Modelers

Nick Black AI Models (NBAI)
Nick Black AI Models Visit the website from Nick Black, one of our "house modelers". You will learn more about his AI models and get some previews from work in development, but also learn more about the man himself and how he got into the AI business.
Global AI (GAI)
Global AI Global AI is run by Andrew Hall, a talented new Australian modeler. Look at the picture on the left to see some of his work. Drew is also working on a new AI model for MAIW.
AI Aardvark (AIA)
AI Aardvark AI Aardvark has set the bar for quality low-poly AI models in the early days, serving the infamous "5%". Although officially retired, they still like to surprise us with a new model now and then.
The Fruit Stand (TFS)
The Fruit Stand The Fruit Stand delivers excellent high quality AI "fruits" and repaints to the AI community. Seen by many as the revival of AI Aardvark, they have the same sarcastic sense of humour which makes reading their homepage a real event.
AI Malcontent (AIM)
AI Malcontent AI Malcontent was created by Charles Dayhuff after a break-up with EvolveAI. He describes his AI models as "crummy" and "ugly", but of course we all know better.

Painters

Graham King
Grahm King Thanks to the combination of his painting and programming skills, Graham has made thousands of liveries and truly is the "King" of military AI repaints. MAIW is lucky to have this man on the team.
Mark Heimer
Mark's FS Repaints Mark, or "djnocturnal" as he is known on our forums, is a very good painter who often contributes his work to Military AI Works. Have a look at his site where you can download more quality repaints!
Ray Parker
Ray Parker Repaints Frequent visitors of our forums will no doubt be familiar with Ray's work. You can download all his AI repaints at his website and even get a sneak peek at some of the projects he's involved in.

Scenery Designers

Airfield Construction Group (ACG)
Airfield Construction Group This group of extremely talented scenery desingers offers modern and retro RAF stations for both FS9 and FSX. Although totally freeware, their work is up to professional payware standards if not better. They've got a lot of projects in the pipeline so keep an eye on their website!

Resources

The Owl's Nest
The Owl's Nest This is Martin Gossmann's site where he publishes all his flightsim related stuff. You will find a reference list of +800 military aircraft, overviews of all MAIW and UKMil AI packages, tools, converters, calculators and now even a new very promising military AI project called Owl AI.
Scramble
Scramble Scramble is the monthly magazine of the Dutch Aviation Society, but they also have an extensive website with complete air force orbats and aircraft registration databases, airfield spotting guides and other goodies. Their forum is the gathering place for many aviation enthousiasts and contains a wealth of information.
Avsim.com
Avsim Avsim is the main source for everything related to Flight Simulator. They provide news, product reviews, a wiki section and much more, but best of all they are known for their huge file library. If you're looking for a model, paint, flightplan or scenery file you will probably find it on Avsim. Military AI Works also uploads its packages to the Avsim library once we're certain they're bug free.
