Placeholder - Boeing-SAAB T-7 Redhawk

Hi All

Over at Sim-outhouse there is a flyable T-7 by Erwin Welker which performs straight out of the box quite well as an AI aircraft. The only thing I have noticed is a tendency to float in the flare on landing; obviously no afterburner and not multi LOD but works for me. First flight of the T-7A production aircraft was conducted from St. Louis Lambert International Airport on 28 June 2023.

cheers,

Geoff

Upon initially seeing the model on various sites, I thought it was AI or JY had released his.

I have the pre-production aircraft built for FSX/P3D, including 21-7002, the aircraft featured in the June 2003 test:

Since the type is not now due into service until early 2005, I have suspended work on the project. If there is a demand for it at this stage, I'll happily package it. I'm not intending to make an AFCAD for Lambert however. I was, at the time, hoping to create the first squadron at Randolf in due course.

There is a freeware KSTL at Fly Away Simulation. SimMarket have a payware version.

John,

Always pleased to add more JYAI aircraft to the flt sim airspace, count me in!

All,

I know not strictly military but does anyone know if there are repaints available for the T-38s (N38FT & N38TZ) and TA-4Js (N280TA & N281TA) currently registered to Boeing and used as chase planes?

Best regards,

Geoff

There is an AFCAD in the SEANG pack, but I seem to have installed KSTL_ADEX_DDH.bgl (+ KSTL_ADEX_DDH_CVX.bgl) from somewhere that includes embedded objects.

I suspect it came with some F-15 pack.

None that I am aware of, but I was using a NBAI OA-4M in green/gray USMC colors as it was under contract and spotted at Boeing a few years ago. The Talons are sharp looking in those colors.

In a Boeing video, 158141, a TA-4J wfu with TW-1 in May 1998 can be seen in USMC colours taxiing out to accompany 21-7002 on first flight

I have packaged the FSX/P3D T-7A models and paints that I have made so far and provided a link in my original T-7A topic here:
